Apukunaq Tianan (HALF DAY Tour)

A half day tour to the Apukunaq Tianan “Abode of the Gods” sculpture park at about a 45-minute journey from Cusco.

Located at a high altitude, the site offers incredible views of the Urubamba Valley. The park itself contains a beautiful collection of contemporary, giant stone sculptures carved directly into the side of the mountain.

Each sculpture created by Cusco sculptor Michael de Titan ranges between 49 and 56 feet (15 and 17 meters) in height and represents Andean gods and figures from various Inca creation myths. The park aims to represent a celebration of Andean culture, a place to connect to the ancient Apus, and to merge art and nature just like the ancient Inca did. As we walk around together, you will learn more about the symbolism and mythology behind each sculpture piece including Tupac Amaru, the Puma, the God Wiracocha, the Pachamama, and more.
